Notes on QLD concessions
  • Home concession: concessional rates on the first $350k; general rates on the balance.
  • First home – established: full exemption ≤ $700k; tapered concession $700,001–$800k.
  • First home – new home and vacant land: full transfer-duty concession for eligible contracts on/after 1 May 2025.
  • AFAD: surcharge for foreign acquirers on residential land (generally 8% since 1 Jul 2024).
